What You Will Learn in the BSN

• Integrating nursing leadership theories in professional practice

LSUA's flexible format fits your busy schedule. Most students require 36 hours to complete this degree. However, all credit hours from previous coursework will be evaluated to determine the number of hours needed. A total of 120 hours are required to earn a baccalaureate degree. 

Having a BSN opens many chances for career growth that a standard registered nurse would not be able to pursue. There are a variety of specialized nursing fields that a nurse with a bachelor’s degree can pursue such as emergency room nursing and orthopedic nursing.

Will my degree say I earned it online? 

No, graduates receive the same diploma as on-campus peers.

Will I pay out-of-state tuition if I am outside of Louisiana? 

There are no out-of-state fees. Fully online programs offer the same flat-rate tuition no matter where you live.

LSU Online is a flexible fit for learners offering six starts a year and seven-week terms. All courses are designed to be fully accessible and engage learners, no matter where you are located.
